TERMS OF USE AND DISCLAIMER

JPL Process Service, LLC – Client Agreement

Official Terms (Legal Version)Plain English (Pro Per Client-Friendly)

1. Services Provided

We provide process serving, deposition officer services, photocopying, court filing/e-filing, skip tracing, e-recording, and related services nationwide.

What We Do: We process serve and file legal papers nationwide, deposition officers for subpoenas, a professional photocopier, scans, and more.

2. Client Responsibilities

You must provide accurate and complete documents. You are responsible for making sure they are legally valid.

Your Part: Give us the right documents. Make sure they’re the correct ones and properly filled out.

3. Payment Terms

Payment is due when you order unless you have an account with a card on file. For accounts, we automatically charge your card at the start of each billing cycle (usually the first of the month). You must prepay court/government fees. All fees are non-refundable once work begins. We do not review documents for accuracy, completeness, or whether they are the correct forms, and we do not provide legal advice. Any court rejections or errors are the client’s responsibility.

Payments: Pay when you order. If you have an account, we’ll charge your saved card automatically each month for all services from that billing cycle. Court/government fees are extra. Once we start work, there are no refunds. Important: We do not give legal advice or check your paperwork. If the court rejects your documents, that’s your responsibility.

4. Service Attempts & Results

Payment covers the attempt to serve, not a guarantee of success. We provide a Proof of Service or a Non-Service Report.

Results: You’re paying for the attempt. You’ll get proof if it’s served or a report if it isn’t.

5. Cancellations & Refunds

You must submit cancellations in writing before work begins. No refunds once work starts. Rush/special handling fees are always non-refundable. For monthly accounts, once a charge is processed, it covers all services in that billing cycle and cannot be refunded.

Cancellations: Cancel before we start = refund (minus costs). If we already started, no refund. Rush jobs are never refundable. Monthly accounts: once your card is charged for that cycle, it’s final.

6. Limitation of Liability

We are not liable for indirect or incidental damages. Our liability is limited to the amount paid for the specific service.

Our Responsibility We’ll do our job professionally, but if something goes wrong, the most we’ll refund is the fee you paid for that job.

7. Confidentiality

We keep all documents and information confidential unless the law requires disclosure.

Privacy: Your information is safe with us unless the law says we must share it.

8. Compliance (CUF)

We comply with all state and federal laws, including Commercially Useful Function (CUF) rules.

Following the Rules We follow all laws and regulations for legal support services.
