Deposition Officer Services

Subpoena records. One Point of Contact.JPL Process Service, LLC provides deposition officer services for business records subpoenas. Contact us to confirm availability for your case and the state involved before designating JPL to receive records. Need the subpoena served, too? We can coordinate that separately.

Subpoena Service and Deposition Officer Availability

JPL coordinates nationwide subpoena service through one company. Serving a subpoena and acting as deposition officer are separate assignments. Nationwide service coverage does not mean JPL can act as deposition officer in every state or every matter.

Before listing JPL on your subpoena, confirm deposition officer availability and delivery instructions for your case, state, and records request. For service in California, see our California Subpoena Service page. For other legal documents, see Nationwide Process Service.

Business Records Subpoenas: Our Role

As your designated deposition officer, JPL receives the records supplied by the responding provider. You have one team to contact about your assignment. We can also coordinate nationwide subpoena service if you need your subpoena served.

Our records-receipt service does not include court reporting or legal advice. We do not review a production for completeness or pursue missing records from the provider. If you believe records are missing, address that issue with the provider and your attorney.

Before naming JPL on your subpoena, please arrange service with our team. This gives us the information needed to identify your assignment when records arrive.
